| Description: | "There are currently 545 students enrolled at Flandreau Indian school in South Dakota. They range in age from 14 to 21 years. They come from nine midwestern states & represent 35 different tribal groups. They are a diverse group of young people whose backgrounds range from the city ghetto to isolated rural area. The school has developed a diversified program, utilizing all the resources available, such as Title 1 of the elementary-secondary Education Act, based upon meeting the individual needs of its students. Go My Son is the complete story of Flandreau Indian school & covers a wide variety of activities from academic to social. Title 1 programs in reading, mathematics, language arts & special education are presented in great detail."--AV-ED Films. Beware the God-awful fashion sensibilities running throughout this film!
