| Description: | 15:13:16:- Great MS's of several gorillas in a large free-range gorilla exhibit at the Zoo Atlanta. For the most part they are sitting around, loafing. One of them seems to be entirely lost in thought, occasionally bringing its large hands to its brow a la "The Thinker" (in a way). Their mannerisms are so human it's as if there's a man inside their skin, pulling strings. Good MS of an adult and young gorilla rising from the grass, the young one hopping onto the adult's back, walking away. 15:20:50:- Cut to MS of Mike Lukas (TV host and comedian) standing and talking to Kristen Lukas, a research scientist at Zoo Atlanta. As they prepare for the interview the camera zoom in to the free-range natural habitat gorilla exhibit behind them for a MS of a grayish gorilla crawling up a steep slope. Zoom back to MS of Mike and Kristen as they discuss what she does at the zoo, what her job entails, how strong the gorillas are and why that is, what teh zoo does to provide a natural environment for their animals, and if chimps can be kept as pets. As they are talking the camera occasionally zooms in to a MS of the gorillas walking, eating or playing (great MS of a young gorilla standing on a rock and staring at the camera). | |
