Very British 'landed gentry' type scenes with some elderly men hunting along with gamekeepers beaters dogs etc. Lots of tweed and wool and earth tones and some plus fours. CU two men with guns out on the moor. Men are both c. age 60s one looks like very old typical gamekeeper, even has gamekeeper type hat like Sherlock H. The other man fires shotgun two times. The gamekeeper quickly hands him another gun and he fires again. Cut to shot of frightened hare running across the moor (unharmed). MS the two men in FG standing at their perch high on hill. BG several beaters are walking across a hollow far below, trying to flush out the grouse. MS a different elderly hunter carries grouse he has shot and sets it on a mossy rock with him is a younger helper carrying guns. MS pan with dog (Golden Retriever) running around nearby. Dog bringing back grouse, hunter takes grouse from dog and pats him. CU hunter holding grouse. Grouse is shot and hits the ground; within seconds the dog is there and picks it up, brings it to his master. WS grouse flying over moor, is shot. LS dog retrieving grouse. CU end of double-barreled shotgun. CUs of man loading shotgun shells into double barrel shotgun. Gun looks old. | |
