| Description: | Master 60 Part 1 Same as catalog # 93102 Clip has natural sound, but no narration. Electric Guitars being made in a factory in Best, Holland. Opens with craftsman fashioning a strip of wood into a circle, another puts it into the mold for the familiar shaped guitar body. The body is pressed and then buffed. The arm of the guitar is fastened by a worker with an extemely long screw driver, and at the next station the guitars are hung on one of three racks. Cut to another worker spray painting the bodies of electric guitars, and then to another stringing the fret boards. At the final station the inspector plugs in a spiffy, white electric guitar and begins to play a scale. Switch to a smaller auditorium where the camera pans a crowd listening the British rock band TheTroggs. One MS of the guitarist, and then to 4 teenage girls dancing (frug-like) in the aisle. 4 other girls are shown sitting side by side and moving their together. Rock and Roll. CU of lead singer of Troggs grimacing, to CU of fan nodding head in rhythm and then tilt to shot of her hands moving to the beat. Then to three teenage girls swinging their arms in unison. Back to shot of the band wrapping up their number and to pan of crowd applauding. Cut to LS of stadium where a the "Miss Beat" contest is now underway. Seven teenage girls dance in a wide circle to a mid-tempo melody--quite mod dolly birds (the Pony). MS of judges (including fashion designer Mary Quant) at the tables taking notes, first en masse, then two at a time. Some are bored, some have quizzical expressions. Another shot of girls going in same circle. CU of bemused winner. Rock and Roll, Band, contests. | |
