| Description: | GUN DOGS Large number of hunting dogs are seen at their kennels in Scotland - eating, being exercised etc. Keith, Scotland MLS a bunch of hunting dogs sitting & standing together on some sort of wooden platform inside barn or shed; their heads move in unison up and down as they watch something moving behind and to rt. of camera. A boy stands behind dogs. MS dogs looking up and down. CUs individual dogs. MLS dogs coming out small dog-sized door in side of barn and down a ramp. MS dogs crowding around chain length fence; someone on rt. side of fence is handing treats through the holes. LS big crowd of dogs running around in fenced in yard at side of barn; owner Mr. Isaac Sharpe in BG standing by tall fence. Pan to closer shot of dogs swarming around Sharpe who is now standing with his hand on the gate. MLS looking over dogs, who are just about going crazy, all barking and jumping, desperate to get out. WS tilt down from hill to farm buildings below; Gate is opened and dogs run out and come bounding up hill toward cam. & past. LS back view: happy dogs running through field; Sharpe walking among them. Another wide shot of this mob of dogs in field. MCU 2 cats sit in grass looking complacent and smiling; suddenly they take fright and spring away in different directions. Cut back to WS dogs. LS dogs crowd around the Mr. Sharpe and another man, who are standing on ridge; Sharpe throws food up in the air for the dogs to catch. LS Sharpe and another man walking dogs on leashes through field; each man holding 6 leashes! MLS they stop in middle of field; again dog's heads all move in unison as they watch something offscreen. LS tilt up, from inside farm yard: dogs running back down hill and into the yard; the man worker comes in carrying bucket, followed by boy c. age 14. Boy runs to shut the gate once the dogs are inside. | |
