| Description: | HASTINGS Odd Tall Narrow Fishermen's Huts Small settlement on beach - church and some old tall narrow fishermen's houses on beach pan to fishing boats that have been pulled up onto the beach; a crew are doing some work on the boat furthest to rt. Closer view of several of the tall grey wooden houses. They are as much as c. 3 stories tall but extremely narrow, maybe 8 ft. across; they are all of the same grey boards and have no decoration and most seem to have no windows either. In the nearest one, a man climbing a ladder inside can be seen through 3 open doors (one at each level). MS pan w/ man climbing ladder. May be used for drying fishing nets.
