C/U of man with a handlebar moustache selecting a hat from a range displayed behind him. He is Victor Hyett, the well-known children's hat designer. He has designed a new range of hats for girls between the ages of 6 and 14. Panning shot of some of the hats in his milliners shop. M/S of two girls sitting on a window seat. One brushes her hair and the other holds a mirror. Victor puts hats on the girls and they tilt their heads and look in the mirror. M/S and C/Us of two older girls - teenagers. One of the girls puts on a funny hat and pulls a silly face. Victor helps the teenagers to choose an appropriate hat. Various shots of the girls having their hats fitted. Ends with a shot of the four girls in school uniform wearing different hats. Note: according to paperwork the girls featured are Penny Hyett, Vivian Dukes, Linda Lawrence and Jennifer Goddard.
