| Description: | HATS, WITH A TILT Fall 1932 hat styles - various hats worn at a forward tilted angle. United Kingdom MLS model wearing short checked jacket and longish narrow skirt, and of course a little hat tilted to side turning on narrow runway between tables of spectators at fashion show in France. CU model turns around showing all sides of hat which is light colored on top and dark colored under the brim, which turns up down in front & up in back; both the front & back are trimmed with bows of the contrasting fabrics. CU model wearing a little velvet hat which tilts up toward the back and has a single feather lying flat on the top of the hat and extending a bit beyond it in back (and obviously tilting up at same angle). The hat is reminiscent of Robin Hood or something. There follow 2 more CUs of models in close fitting hats which all tilt forward to some degree, displaying to advantage the popular hairstyle - the length a bit below the ear, with a bunch of curls in back. | |
