| Description: | Government official film. Heating trailer. Intertitle - 'Here's how to practise - grate economy. Have only one fire. Fire bricks provide equal heat with less coal.' M/S of man using the fire bricks. Intertitle - 'and .... there's no fuel like an old fuel.' C/U of someone unwrapping the old coals. Intertitle - 'Conserve warmth in a room.' A man blocks up gaps under the door with a blanket. Intertitle - 'never break up big .... lumps.' M/S of man poking the fire, someone stops him and pushes his hand away. Intertitle - 'Bank the fire with slack don't make it up after 8 o'clock.' M/S of fire. Intertitle - 'When the room is warmed .... turn down the gas or electric fire.' A hand turns down the fire. Intertitle - 'And never leave an electric or a gas fire on in an empty room.' A woman goes out of the room, title reads "Hi!", she runs back in and turns the fire off. Intertitle - 'Before going to bed ... remove surplus coal.' M/S as he does this. Intertitle - 'Lastly do without a fire in your bedroom.' M/S as woman springs into bed and under the covers.
