Nat sound of Nixon speaking, presenting the award: "Thank heaven he's a weight lifter, 'cause I can't lift the trophy myself." Funny. Laughter, applause, Cannon (?) does lift trophy. Scenes recall one of the season's most spectacular plays, an 87-yard runback by Cannon against Ole Miss. Wow. Good college football highlight -- he escapes several defenders.
