| Description: | Daring rescuers save crewmen from the storm-wrecked British freighter "Ambassador". Helpless in mountainous North Atlantic seas, the merchantmen's plight sets off a grim drama of men against winds which reach gale force and waves rising 25 to 40 feet. A very choppy sea. MAS - This is an aerial shot of the British Freighter, the Ambassador, and it is tilted to one side and taking in water. MS - The high waves of the ocean treat this huge freighter as a toy in the water. MS - Two military men in a plane or helicopter looking down at the doomed ship. 21 men are taken off the vessel safely and 14 others are swapped away. The back hatch of the plane is open thus framing a sean of disaster. MS - A Dutch salvage tug got ropes on the tanker and their going to take her back into port to the Azors. | |
