| Description: | "U.S. Marines take Hill 881 in the single most important action of the war in Vietnam. The two week campaign kills over a thousand enemy soldiers. Aerial bombardments rock Haiphong and even come within 20 miles of Hanoi. Propaganda leaflets also win over many Vietcong. TLS/MSs - African-American and Caucasian U.S. Marines firing light field artillery cannon in jungles outside Khe Sanh (Khe Sahn), some placing fingers in ears to block out noise-- note that some Marines wear flak jackets. High Angle shot - Marines firing mortar from hill. LS - Explosion in distance behind trees. MS - Marine stalking along dusty hill, away from camera. LS - Marines humping up hill. Rear view MS - Two Marines standing in field, one talking on field telephone. LS - Marine running down dusty hill, hitting the ground for cover.
