By public subscription a new modern home is built for her. Footage shows her in an iron lung, people conducting fund raising activities, including a good shot of a large stack of money that a man is handing over to someone in first a wide shot and then CU of hands lifting stacks of money, final somewhat strange shot of Mary in the iron lung and someone places her young son on top of the machine so it looks like he is riding the iron lung while he looks down at his mom.
