Cut to tight LS of the front entrance. Tight LS of the base, tilt up height of towers. MS's of some of the activity going on the streets and sidewalks outside the hotel: cars and pedestrians (including a guy walking with a wheelbarrow), etc. 00:04:00:- tight LS of the sooty sign hanging atop the Havana Libre hotel; reads, "habana libre". Cut to tight and wide LS's of the building, the latter shot having the tall hotel tower in BG while cars and such pass in the FG. CU of the sooty, blue sign, specifically the word "habana"; cut to the same with "libre". Cut to tight LS of the whole sign. 00:04:55:- Tight LS of people boarding a Metro bus; the bus pulls from the curb, heads towards the camera, enters stream of traffic, passes cam. Shot stays still for a few moments as old Chevys and Volvos pass by. 00:05:36:- low angle tight LS of the Capri Hotel, a famous building once a prized gambling casino; tilt down to base, then tilt up to tower again. 00:05:52:- tight LS of a restaurant/bar/grill, called "La Equista" (?); zoom in to MS of the yellow and white striped canopy hanging from a porch of the establishment.
