L/S of a large wooden house in a heavily wooded garden. M/S of the interior of the house, an Indian lady, Mrs Kapoor who is wearing a Sari is walking about, there is a bare wooden floor and a sunken seating area in the background. M/S of the room from another angle, there is a television in the corner and a bowl of fruit and some flowers on the table. Mrs Kapoor picks up a magazine from the table and walks over to the seating area, this is set 12 inches lower than the rest of the room. She sits on the floor and starts to read. M/S of a light fitting which is a large wooden frame suspended from the ceiling with spot lights attached to it, to match the cedar walls. A white maid enters with a tea tray and places it on the floor next to Mrs Kapoor, she walks out of the room. M/S of a wooden mobile hanging from the ceiling. Mrs Kapoor walks over to a very large glass door and goes outside, there is a sunken fish pool running inside and outside the house with a glass partition to maintain temperature. M/S of the fish pool. Mrs Kapoor walks along a path and looks into the pool and then into a barbecue grill which is set in the stone wall. The narrator says this garden has been designed by Martin Hayler and is made predominantly of wood and stone to blend in with the surroundings, the house is named 'Gurjveer'. Mrs Kapoor walks back into the house. C/U of the grill and the stone wall. The whole house is very light and airy with lots of windows. It does not contain any bricks, mortar or plaster. M/S of the stone wall and windows, the walls are wooden panels, the camera pans up to the roof which is carried on timber posts and beams. M/S of the roof. M/S of stone walls and windows, M/S of a fir tree which has grown through a hole in the eaves. C/U of the fir tree growing up through the roof. L/S pan across the house taking in the stone walls and big windows.
