| Description: | Master 2 - Tape 1 Lots of people, of different ages, march together to defeat hunger. These are the sponsored public marches, in which people walk a certain amount of miles and are paid by the mile by various sponsors. They then collect the money and give it to charity--in this case, hunger. Shot in the early 1970s, this footage has a good 70's teenagers, teen fashion, and a rather sedate, non threeatening feel. Nice shot in silhouette over a bridge, shot from underneath, framed by trees. CUs of the feet and legs as they walk step after stop on the sidewalk. Rear view of marchers walking down main street; which must be closed to traffic - one marcher is wearing a stars and stripes hat. Close Shot of woman's rear end in tight striped pants, CU (camera shaking). Sign visible: "KEEP GO'IN HUNGER HURTS" in fluorescent colors. People pass, wave at camera. Lots of kids in groups, looking hippy-like, walk up to camera, flash peace sign. | |
