The public are kept at a safe distance behind barricades. Trees have been stripped of their leaves and knocked over. More examining of shrapnel - probably case of a V1 or V2 rocket. Twisted park chair lies on the ground. Man in a suit hits one of the lamp bases with a mallet but it carries on flaming. | |
