L/S onboard a fishing boat with lots of equipment on deck, fishermen are hauling up baskets of fish and pouring them into a big crate. M/S of two fishermen bringing up the basket and tipping it into the crate. M/S of the crate full of fish, C/U of three boys looking down at it. M/S of a boy in the hold filling the baskets full of fish with a big fork. The narrator tells us children come to do this during their summer holidays because they get four months off and need to keep out of trouble. M/S as two more boys haul the basket up and tip it in. C/U of a boy wearing spectacles. L/S of several young people stood in a park tending a flower bed with hoes. C/U of a hoe in the flowers, C/U of the blonde girl holding the hoe, she smiles. C/U of another girl's face. M/S as she hoes the flower bed. L/S of two other people raking the grass in front of a lake, there is an ornamental fountain in the middle. M/S of a row of children in swimming costumes stood by the side of a pool, a woman is tying belts round their waists. M/S as the children sit down, M/S as a group of children watch them. M/S as the woman instructs the children and they start to do warm up exercises. M/S as they stretch and bend their legs. The narrator tells us the pool is filled by the natural hot water springs in the area. M/S of a girl in the pool, the camera pans across to show some more children. A girl grabs a pole being held out by the instructor and kicks her legs as she is pulled in. M/S of the instructor holding out the pole, M/S of another child swimming in. M/S of the children lined up in the pool and a woman stood on the side with her arms out in front of her, she stretches them out to the side and the children do the same. C/U of one little girl doing the exercises. M/S of a small girl stood on the side holding her arms out as the woman shows her how to stand, the girl then dives in and starts swimming. L/S of lots of children in the pool, L/S of more children lining up and jumping into the pool, they all start swimming.
