| Description: | IN THE EMPEROR'S TEA GARDEN Workers harvest & process tea from gardens belonging to the Emperor of Japan. "Even as you and I, His Imperial Majesty the Emperor of Japan, drinks tea. But very particular tea, grown on very particular tea plants..." LS women workers in identical kimonos and white scarves (which are, according to titles, worn by all tea workers) bend over what look like rows of hedges. MCU pan on workers picking tea leaves. LS workers walk out of garden, carrying baskets; man in white suit stands nearby. MS workers walk toward camera, emptying baskets of tea leaves into a crate; a few men are watching. "Not even an Emperor can drink all the tea produced by the Imperial plants, so there's a big market for what's left. Sorting it out -" Pan on interior: large room where women of various ages sit on floor, working at low tables, sorting the tea leaves. Pan on more workers. MCU looking down at table where workers are quickly brushing around tea leaves. Men come out of building, pulling and pushing carts loaded w/ crates of tea. They walk toward camera and past.
