| Description: | The freighter "Shirley Lykes" drops another shipment of supplies - ransom for Castro's war prisoners -- before picking up 1,170 refugees who will find a haven in the United States. They are mostly relatives of the war prisoners, who sacrificed all their possessions to Castro in order to leave their homeland. MWAS - At the ship yard a ship is docked and there's plenty of men walking a round. MS - A sailor standing on the deck of the Shirley Lykes taking movie pictures. MS - A huge bunch of crates are lifted off the Shirley Lykes and placed on the shore. MS - War prisoners who were granted a visa to leave Cuba. MS - Mother and daughter walking towards the ship. Looking down into the ships hull you see a lot of bunks set up. CUS - Little boy eating food. MS - A father holding his child. MS - The ship landed in Port Everglades and children on stretches are brought on to the shore. MS - Older man escorted off the ship. MS - Many Cubans walking on the shores of Port Everglades. | |
