| Description: | INTO BRAZIL'S JUNGLELAND (NO: 3) Brazil, South America. "The Matto Grasso Expedition meet some queer denizens of the Jungle." M/S of a "grotesque looking bird" pecking at a rattlesnake. The bird pecks at the snake and the snake hisses at the bird. "What a headache for the enemy" says the narrator. L/S of group of explorers hauling a cowhide along the ground. Wrapped up in the cowhide is a Tapir. The cowhide is unwrapped to show the captured animal. C/U of man in canoe holding a rifle. He talks about his quarry - how its head resembles a horse's head. Camera pans along the body of the Tapir. Its legs are tied together. "George, the Camp favourite, meets an Ant eater." M/S of David Newell (I think) and a local man looking at a small Anteater. Newell has a monkey sitting on his shoulder. Dave shows the monkey (George) the anteater. George looks scared and tries to get away then gingerly touches the anteater. M/S of another anteater on the ground. It is a very strange looking creature and makes a weird noise. | |
