| Description: | JACK BARTY Comedian Jack Barty takes us on a trip to London Zoo to see the animals. London. "An "Un-zoosual" interview with Jack Barty - the well-known comedian." C/U of Jack Barty singing in a comical way. He apologises for butting into the middle of the programme, makes a joke about 'butting', then says he went to the zoological gardens the other day and took his movie camera with him. Fade into M/S of three polar bears at London Zoo. Various shots of the zookeeper feeding one of the bears while a large crowd watches. Jack says he gave the bear a peanut and hoped he didn't die of shell shock. The bears sit on their haunches and beg; one dives into the pool. Jack makes some jokes and puns, then we see some brown bears in a rocky enclosure. Various shots of the flamingos standing in their pond. M/S of people standing around a glass water tank where birds (look like small cormorants) dive for food. M/S of a monkey clinging to the bars of his cage: various shots of monkeys (baboons?) in their enclosure, grooming each other and running about. Jack wonders why they are running about and suggests they might be hearing a dinner bell. Fade in to M/S of Jack, ringing a bell. He says "Yes, they heard a bell", takes his hat off and smiles; fade out. | |
