| Description: | This is a jam session in a house with a new band (17:42) 16:17:26:- tight LS, 3/4 angle, of five musicians walking along a shady alleyway, their instruments in hand (a hi-hat, a snare drum, bongos, possibly a keyboard). MS of musicians walking along a sidewalk, turning the corner of a residential home. More instruments this time, including a stand-up bass and guitars. Pan with them as they pass. Low angle MS of the musical procession walking up several flights of stairs. 16:18:46:- CU's of a guitarist's hand fingerpicking the strings, tilt up to CU of his face. CU of man sleeping in an armchair. MS of a guitarist sitting in a chair and practicing scales while another guitarist, out of focus, plays in the FG (excellent shot). Cut to CU of strings and soundhole of traditional Cuban guitar as it's being played. Traditional Cuban music. CU of male singer singing (nice voice). Lots of MS's and CU's of the guitarists warming up, occasionally the singer joining in. Undisciplined rehearsals. CU of a man playing a flute. 16:24:30:- MS of the band playing: a singer (also playing the clave), a stand-up bass player, two guitarists, a flutist and a percussionist. They run through a traditional Cuban song. Pans and zooms to CU's of the players and their instruments, taken during and between songs. | |
