| Description: | JERRY THE TROUBLESOME TYKE - ALL COD Animation featuring that naughty dog Jerry - this week he has a fight with a bear. Exterior of a house with a little kennel in the garden. The words: "I wonder what's for dinner today." appear. Jerry comes along and picks a fish bone out of his food bowl. He looks cross. "This wasn't caught - it surrendered!" He throws it away and imagines himself fading away. He walks over to a lake and sees a fish jumping in and out of the water. He decides to try and make a fishing rod with a tree branch. He casts his line and winks at the audience. He pulls out his line - nothing on it. The fish jumps out of the water and laughs at Jerry. Jerry dives in and comes up holding an old boot. He dives down again and comes up with a bottle. He looks pleased with this and uncorks it. A genie pops out. Jerry exclaims: "Beaver!" (a reference to the genie's long beard!) The genie (who wears a turban) says "My deliverer! What do'st thou wish?" Jerry says "To catch that darn fish!" Jerry catches the fish. He walks along dragging the fish behind him. He arrives at the circus. A strange looking animal peeks out from under a tent. It seems to be a bear. The bear follows Jerry along. The bear eats the fish then runs after Jerry. A chase ensues. They run into a cave and lots of stars and "Biff Bang" stuff goes on which suggests they are having a big scrap in there. Jerry emerges holding the fish and wearing the bear skin! He holds up the fish and twitches his ears in triumph. | |
