Description:JERRY THE TROUBLESOME TYKE - JERRY'S TREASURE ISLAND TRAVEL Animation featuring that naughty dog Jerry - this week he has a nice swim.

Jerry the Troublesome Tyke (a cartoon dog) swims in the sea He performs a spectacular dive in and out of the water. He then swims around with just a snorkel sticking out of the water. He emerges and submerges then sticks his upper body out of the sea and blows a jet of water out of his mouth. He swims along doing the front crawl. He looks very alarmed to see a whale swimming by him. His ears elongate. He screams and waves his arms in the air. Suddenly he is lifted out of the water by the whale - Jerry stands on his back. The whale swishes its tail around. Jerry's body shakes. The whale swims off with Jerry aboard. Jerry scratches his head. He moves around slipping and sliding on the whale's back to comic effect. He falls down and lies across the whale. He gets up and rubs his nose. He puts his hand over his eyes and looks out to sea. He points towards the whale's tail and looks at the audience, smiling. He slides down the tail as if it is a frosty path - he becomes very small in the distance. He runs back up again then slides down and off the end of the tail. He climbs back on the whale, sits down and waves at the audience. He suddenly looks surprised as his bottom is raised from the whale's head. Suddenly the whale spouts and Jerry is propelled into the air on top of a jet of water. The water spurts up and down and Jerry bounces up and down on the jet. He lands on the whale kind of splattered. The whale suddenly dives, taking Jerry down with him. Jerry emerges and swims off. He stops and takes something from an invisible pocket in his chest. It turns out to be a Treasure Map with skull and crossbones in the corner. He puts it back in his pocket and looks around. We see his point of view - tops of palm trees - real ones, not animation. He says: "My Treasure Island" and points towards it. He walks on to the island. He gets out his map, scratches his head and points. A coconut falls on his head. He looks dazed. He looks up. Live action footage of an orang-utan swinging in the treetops. Jerry waves his fist and shakes the tree trunk. Lots of coconuts fall down. Jerry sees stars - well, one large star in fact. End title reads: "and here Jerry "sticks it" - until next week!"
