| Description: | JERRY THE TROUBLESOME TYKE - JERRY SACKS A SAXAPHONE Animation featuring that naughty dog Jerry - this week he gets cross with a noisy neighbor. CU of the artists hand as he draws a wheel with something moving inside it. When the wheel suddenly expands it turns out to be Jerry sleeping in front of a fire. Jerry snores and his back moves up and down. In another room a man prepares to play a saxophone. The man has a stretchy neck which extends when he looks at his music. He plays and notes come swaying out of the instrument. He taps his foot. Some of the notes turn up in the room where Jerry is sleeping and they move around and over his body. One of the notes stands on Jerry's back. He wakes up and chases after it. The saxophonist continues to play. Jerry gets cross and jumps up and down (the saxophonist must be in the room below.) Jerry gets a poker and bends it into a tool for drilling a hole in the floor. He makes a hole then looks down on the saxophonist. Jerry attaches a piece of string to his something which hangs down from the ceiling - it isn't clear what this is but presumably some sort of lamp fitting which emits gas. Jerry attaches a pipe to the lamp fitting and lowers it through the floor and into the saxophone. The man stops playing and sniffs the air. He suddenly starts coughing as he has swallowed some gas as he has been playing. Jerry yells: "Peace at Last!" | |
