| Description: | Use catalog # 446417 for first part of story. JERRY THE TROUBLESOME TYKE Jerry rides runaway horse. Jerry is seen falling off a horse. The horse laughs at Jerry. Jerry climbs on its back. The horse sags in the middle. Jerry punches the horse and it starts to run. Cartoon Jerry and horse are superimposed over live action street. They run past cars and shops. They arrive outside the Pathe office. There are signs in the window for "Pathe Super Gazette" and "Eve's Film Review". The horse stops suddenly and Jerry goes flying over its head and through one of the windows. Inside the Pathe office a man stands up behind a large desk. He and Jerry have a conversation which ends with the man saying: "If you rode that you can ride anything! You're engaged!!" Jerry wiggles his feet and his ears. Jerry holds up a piece of paper which reads: "Contract between Pathe Ltd and Mr Jerry. Salary 500 bones weekly." "But, how Jerry "sticks it" will be shown in future "Pictorials." | |
