| Description: | At Lake Coniston, England, British speed ace, Donald Campbell, is killed when his Hydroplane "Bluebird", goes out of control, flips out of the water, crashes and explodes. Divers found only his helmet, shoes and oxygen mask. Establishing shot - Aerial shot of a speed boat creating a huge rooster tail as it speeds along. MS - As the boat is speeding along at 300 MPH the boat flips backwards and becomes air born. MS - The speed boat comes down crashing down on to the lake and starts to roll, breaking apart and finely exploding on impact.
