| Description: | JUST - HATS Various new hats are modelled by smiling girls. Hat fashions for summer 1932. United Kingdom MS 3 models wearing afternoon dresses and hats sit in interior house setting. CUs of hats, which are all different. 1st one a globular crown and a medium brim, trimmed with a wide black ribbon around the crown, crossing in front. 2nd hat has a large brim turning downward all around (almost like a coolie hat); the crown is dark and brim is all light color except for one dark wedge on the side which gives it assymmetrical look. 3rd hat is a close-fitting little white "turban" perched at an angle on model's head. CU another model admires herself in a hand mirror, wearing a "modified sailor's hat" - white hat with turned up brim, the whole thing covered with veil; a squiggly dark design is woven into the part of the veil over the crown of the hat. | |
