Shot of herd of dairy cows coming by just to left of camera. MLS (outside brick farm building) a line of men milkers each carrying a stool and a bucket, they pour milk through a funnel into another bucket; young woman assists. LS another man carries 2 buckets of the milk away. MS man pouring bucket of milk through a cheesecloth into a big tub. (Here it is mixed w/rennet which curdles the milk.) MS elderly lady bending over vat breaking up the big curds. MLS this woman dropping curds into a grinder while another woman turns a handle to grind them up. MS old woman scooping stuff out of a big pot into small cylindrical vats. MS man turning handle to tighten press; the cylinder of cheese is inside what looks a bit like a big birdcage. MCU man loosening the press (after 3 days) and taking the cheese out. MCU he sets it down again and takes it out of container. MCU woman takes some thin material and stretches it over the top of the cheese like a skin over a drum, and wraps another piece around the side. MLS woman stands in a dim room in the midst wheels of cheeses; she is turning them over. LS pan on rows of cheeses stacked, a bunch of men standing around.
