| Description: | Seeds of intrigue spill over to Western Germany where at Frankfurt members of a bitterly anti-communist organization demonstrate in protest over the kidnapping of their leader Alexander Throstevich. Made up of White Russians as well as Germans they have conducted un-remitting war against the Soviet Regime on both sides of the Iron Curtin. Dr. Throstevich was lured into a Soviet trap in Berlin and spirited away to East Germany following an espionage and propaganda campaign against the Reds. Establishing shot - Anti-communist protesters. CUS - Signs that are carried reading: "Freiheit - Fur Die Opfer das Kommunismus!" MCUS - West German citizens throwing papers over the fence. CUS - Man and a woman shouting slogans. CUS - Man shouting slogans. MCUS - People hanging papers of protest on the fence. CUS - Man painting German word on pavement. CUS - Police keeping the people under control. Shortly after these pictures were made three communist Soviet agents whose assignment was to murder leaders of the anti-communist movement surrendered to West-German police. | |
