If you have or have not this film is quite a fascinating experience (in case you don't know Kliklok is a brand of commercial paperboard). The film opens w/ a MS of flattened sheet of paperboard; zoom in as it shapes itself into a box; cut to a rapid montage of designed product boxes ranging from Old El Paso and Twinkies to Hanes bras and Cilicaine Syringes; cut to the box again as it opens up, zoom in to its contents (a photograph of the distant earth in black space0; keep zooming!!! The remainder of the film is devoted to the manufacturing of Kliklok paperboard. Some shots include: a MS of hundreds of Twinkies on an assembly line... a CU of dozens of light bulbs awaiting packaging on an assembly line... a MS of numerous chocolate bunnies on an assembly line... countless product shots... MS of JB whiskey bottles on production rollers.... MS's of beer lines and pizza packing... MS of a dozen different snack products, zoom in, lose focus, fade out... LS's of modern, high speed automation machines forming, packing, closing, organizing, labeling, and sealing boxes... english muffins, donuts, shampoos, ornaments, toilet paper... tight LS of assembly line's end where 3 receptacles of Shake and Bake are; two men in dress attire inspect the area and are delighted... still montage of Kliklok plants in CT, GA, Chicago, Austrailia, and Tokyo (a quick montage of Japanese plant and distribution is included).... a green on black world map with Kliklok locations. The narration is brief and to the point, letting the mass of images speak for themselves.
