| Description: | Korea: New Army Undergoes Training for Battle A new South Korean army, the 9th army, undergoes rigorous training for battle. Premier Rhee and General Van Fleet inspect the proud youngsters who have joined the country's fighting ranks in the battle against Red tyranny. The soldiers train, crawling low to the ground, attacking dummies with bayonets. Swish pan wipe. Containers of donated blood ("normal human plasma dried" says the label). Medical personnel carry wounded on stretchers. Doctor and nurse at work on patient in what appears to be a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH unit, M*A*S*H*). This portion is a plea for more blood donors. | |
