At the security council warren Austin gives the lie direct to Jacob Malik. Ambassador Warren Austin reported on the crisis that there was evidence that the North Koreans had no intention of obeying the resolution of "immediate cessation of hostilities" . General Douglas Macarthur’s forces rapidly advanced against the North Koreans. In this shot American high ranking brass getting off an air force plane and is greeted by General Macarthur. MCU of the four Generals. Next are aerials of our planes in flight. MCU aerial shots of the bombers - dropping bombs in close support of ground support. Shots of the damage that was caused by the ground support and the bombing, its mighty gruesome. Bodies blown apart and several corpses laying about. Soldiers walking with military hardware on their backs. CU of a wounded soldier accompanied by several North Korean - POWs. The wounded soldier is speaking and pointing to the Korean prisoners, the soldier (May be American) is not too happy. The wounded soldier is poking the prisoner with his finger as he is half laying on a stretcher. New York. MLS of the UN is session. Ambassador Austin addresses the UN. The audio is not good but I am sure that he is speaking of the North Koreans having no intentions of obeying the resolution of cessation of hostilities. In other words stopping their invasion of South Korea. And he addresses their actions as a "miss-guided missal" | |
