MS entryway in apartment; woman's legs from knee down rush to door and open it, another woman's legs enter; they come together as if in a quick embrace, then the 2 pairs of legs walk on into the room. MS from waist down of the two women crossing room and sitting down (leg movements are exaggerated w/little kicks). MS from waist down of the two women seated, hostess pours tea, then while her guest is stirring her tea on her lap, the hostess pulls up the hem of her skirt and reaches for a cigarette case held on her leg by a garter belt! She takes out smokes and offers one. MCU the guest as she reaches into a small pocket in her tailored dress and pulls out a small tube, she takes a cigarette lighter out of it and uses it to light the cig. CU the garter cig case shown opened, like a small billfold, its owner is tapping a cigarette on her thigh, she then takes a tiny lighter out of the case. CU as woman strikes the lighter a few times until lit, she lights the cig, puts lighter back and closes the case; she then sits with her skirt still pulled up and case showing. Finally, another bizarre accessory: a cigarette holder on the side of a neat little cloche hat. CU from back as lady wearing the hat reaches back and inserts a cigarette into the holder on her hat, she then takes the holder off the hat and smokes the cig. | |
