| Description: | Passing of the Great Prelate. Church and people honour the Late Bishop of Dublin. April 14th 1921. Universal Sorrow: the removal of the remains of the Most Rev. Dr. Walsh, Archbishop of Dublin from the Mater Hospital to the Lying-in-State at the Cathedral. We see the coffin of the Most Reverend F. D'Arcy carried out of the church and put in the hearse, mourners walk down the road. The hearse pulled by plumed horses drives up and enters the church yard. A service is held in the churchyard. The coffin is again carried out of the church and put into the hearse. We see mourners walk down the street surrounding the hearse. | |
