| Description: | NO AUDIO Colorful, enthusiastic celebrations greet President and Mrs. Johnson on their arrival in Honolulu and Pago-Pago, American Samoa. A royal welcome complete with hula dancers, flowers, handshaking, and record-breaking crowds mark the beginning of the President's 17 day, six nation Asian tour which includes the upcoming Manila Conference. Establishing Shot: Throngs turn out in Honolulu, Hawaii: CUS - Woman taking a picture. Low Angle Shot - Lady Bird and President Johnson disembarking from Air Force One. MS - Lady Bird Johnson is greeted by a Hawaiian, he placed a Lei around her neck. MS - Hula dancers. MS - President Johnson wearing some Leis around his neck passing the hula dancers. CUS - A very pretty hula dancer. CUS - A smile on the Presidents face as he acknowledges the hula dancers. High Angle Shot - A banner stretch across a Honolulu street, "Aloha LBJ", and there's another banner stretched out and held by two poles, "Aloha LBJ' done in flowers. High Angle Shot: President Johnson walking amongst the Hawaiian people. You can see that the security people are on edge. High Angle Shot - President Lyndon Baines Johnson in a crowd with hands reaching out to him and in the background is Lady Bird Johnson escorted by two FBI agents. MS - President Johnson is now completely surrounded by the Hawaiian people, young children run up to him despite the amount of people in this crushing crowd and manage to shake his hand. Low Angle Shot - A sign stretched across a balcony, "Our Aloha Goes With You Mr. President" Establishing Shot - By the look of the people and the people standing around Lady Bird Johnson I would guess that this shot was taken in Pago-Pago with American Samoa. MS - Lady Bird Johnson digging with a shovel to get some dirt to cover a planted tree. MS - President Johnson slaking hands with American Samoa women. Low Angle Shots - Tops of palm trees the camera is lowered and throngs are sitting on the ground.
