A pianist carries on playing even when he is speaking. Weston places a coin in front of him, when the pianist enquire as to what it is for Weston replies "Hush money !" Weston reads out the radio listings from a newspaper. Some of the titles are quite humorous, they include, "Philip Featherquill of the Chickens Gazette, and an exhibition of club swinging by able seaman Hardrove." Weston informs that he has been advertising for a wife and he has had "500 replies all from married men offering me theirs. Weston sings a song about love. During the course of the song he cracks several jokes such as - "Love in spring time makes young girls come out and show their dimples. It makes young men come out as well but they come out in pimples." "The Eskimo flirts on an iceberg, I think he's a hero, because he puts in some damn good work with the temperature at zero." | |
