Panning (left) LS's of clay brick houses in a village of a "banana republic"; maze of alleyways in which women sweep and children play. MS's of women wearing shawls standing outside a doorway, tables and baskets full of bananas before them. Tight LS and MS's of a banana harvester cutting old stalks from a banana tree. MS of a man rolling a bushel of bananas in a stalk leaf. Tight LS's of workers bundling bushels, hoisting them onto their shouders and carrying them onto a railroad car.
