| Description: | Yokosuko, Japan, plays host to the USS Lexington as the carrier celebrates its birthday. The traditional Tea Ceremony of Japanese festivities is performed on the flight deck for all hands. A giant cake is cut by Mayor Umetsu aided by the Capitan AS Hayward. From there on the party is entirely Oriental. The traditional and highly ceremony tea ritual reserved for special occasions is performed on what may be the greatest scale ever. Yokosuko plays host to friends and allies and a flight deck party for the entire complement of 1200. Establishing shot - A large birthday cake, [Happy Birthday Lady Lexington]. MS - Mayor Umetsu and Capitan AS Hayward cutting the cake. OHMLS - Sailors sitting on deck in circles. CU - Japanese lady in traditional dress making green tea.
