The ornithologists featured are named in the paperwork as Dr. and Mrs. Godfrey and Tasy Landesdown. Portland Bill, Dorset. LS A number of small birds perched on bush (thicket) LS Rear of lighthouse Minibus parked at door. Man gets out of bus closes door and walks into lighthouse followed by a woman. Camera pans to show top of lighthouse. CU Woman's feet passing camera and moving up steps (interior) followed by man's feet. As they reach second step camera pans up to show man holding banister as he goes upstairs. MS Top of lighthouse (Exterior) which has telescope on stand on catwalk round light. Woman emerges from stair head and stands by side of telescope and brings binoculars up to eyes. Man emerges from stair head and moves towards telescope. MS Room inside lighthouse. Girl making bed. She straightens pillow and moves away from bed out of pic. MS Girl by dressing table She picks binoculars up and puts strap over head as she leaves room. MLS Couple on top of lighthouse. Man looking through telescope and woman looking through binoculars. LS Taken from top of lighthouse. People driving birds from thickets into trap. MLS Small trap. Man comes into pic. and closes door of trap. He pulls down rope which opens door of small box in bg. He then picks up small pole closes door of trap and moves out of pic. MS Man running up to small cage. He stops by cage and puts hand inside. CU Man's hand inside small cage moving round to catch fluttering bird. He grabs bird and lifts it out of box. MS Man moving away from box holding bird. CU Man's hand holding bird head between first two fingers. Man looks at birds wing. MS Another man opening door of bird-trap. He is carrying bird in his hand. Stops outside bird-trap and takes ruler from pocket. MCS. Man's head looking down. MCS. Man holding bird with one hand and measuring wing with ruler.
