| Description: | Like Life ...and life-like! South Africa. Various shots of Sister Voshter (sp?) working on a clay sculpture of a Bantu head. She works quickly, with cigarette in hand, moulding the lump of clay into the likeness of an African tribesman. The finished head is quite good, although it is an odd pose - the man seems to have a pole through his head (probably just the foundation for the clay) and looks quite distressed, with mouth open. We then see several other finished sculptures, all of African men and women. | |
