| Description: | LITTLE BRUIN - THE TALKING TEDDIE Apparently this was originally a "talking cartoon" but sound track has been lost (see comments field). Cartoonist was Joe Noble. "Episode one --" A broken down building stands on a hill with a sign "Misery Farm" outside. The cartoon is drawn by Joe Noble. A chimney sweep's brush emerges from the chimney pots of the house. Animation features a horse drawn cart with Little Bruin - the teddy of the title - holding the horse's tail as it walks along. Little Bruin stops the horse by yanking on its tail. Bruin "speaks". He then throws a piano out of the back of the cart. "C/U" of Bruin making funny faces and speaking. He carries the piano on his back and puts it on the ground. He gets his hands trapped. He takes a bow then attempts to play. The piano doesn't work, he looks inside and removes a pair of boots. He throws the boots and they land by a washing line. Little Bruin dances on the keys of the piano. The clothes on the washing line assemble into a pair of legs with boots on the bottom and they dance too. Bruin knocks on a door. He notices a note on the door which reads: "Back in ten minutes. Gone to hang myself." Bruin looks angry and the word: "RAGE" appears above his head. He opens the door and slams it. It bounces back and knocks him flying, he crashes into the piano. The piano falls over. Broken. Bruin says something (impossible to read his lips!) | |
