A girl wearing a night gown (Ms Jean Clarke) is getting ready for bed. Another girl (Ms Pat Howdon) is lying in bed. Two girls' beds are approximately one foot apart. Ms Clarke joins the two beds before lying down. M/S of the two girls in bed. Ms Clarke is holding control box in her hands (little white box with four buttons) and presses one of the buttons. Top of the bed rises so the girls can sit and chat. C/U shot of the control box with buttons. Girl presses one of the buttons. Cut to a bottom of the bed as it rises up (good for tired legs). C/U shot of Ms Clarke's face as she watches the bed rise. She, then, reaches to a drawer on her side of the bed and opens it. Top C/U shot of a tape recorder being switched on. Ms Howdon opens the drawer and finds 'vibro-massage' machine at her side of the bed. C/U shot of Ms Howdon's face as she massages her chin - lots of make-up, great eyebrows. Just by pressing the button one can open and close curtains, switch the lights on and off, heat a mattress, have intercom connection, telephone line and operate a TV set found at the bottom of the bed. Furthermore, one can have a cup of tea or coffee without leaving the bed. M/S of Ms Howdon opening a bottom drawer at her side of the bed. High angle C/U shot reveals a tea set.
