| Description: | MARRAKECH MARKET Various wares and entertainment at a market in Morocco. Very good footage of teeming marketplace in Marrakesh, Morocco. Includes of course the crowds the vendors the many stalls with goods to sell, food being prepared; also street performers with monkeys. Marrakech, Morocco GV looking toward mountain then pull back to look over wide street w/ modern buildings. Cut to MS tracking shot (walking) past little shops (looks like long tent divided into small sections). Variety of goods displayed in the stalls, lots of leather goods, and big baskets and woven bags, food stands. A rather interesting low angle tracking MS while walking underneath lots and lots of yarn or string looped over wires hanging above, looks like we're going through a passageway with strange curtains hanging overhead, each of a different color. High angle MS entertainer and monkeys with chains round their necks attaching them to boxes. The man starts playing on a little flute. High angle MCU then pull out to MLS of a man mixing something in a large bowl as a few people watch. He is standing at a long table with large plates of food, of all different colors of yellow brown orange. Hgih angle MS mother in light blue robe and veil, with baby tied to her back by pink blanket, looks through a stack of posters and pictures. Good shots of a troupe of young male entertainers in identical white outfits, taking turns doing short dance/acrobatic bits. 3 people bending down to converse with a 4th person who is sitting on the ground maybe selling something. Some men looking through stacks of clothing in the middle of the market area. VS of traders in the open market entertainers dancing and with animals. Views over market. | |
