The background is that Max gets sticky flypaper stuck on his foot at a butcher's, then goes to his beau's house ot meet the parents and comedic antics ensue. MSs dapper Max arriving at home of girlfriend with gift of sweets; Max meets her folks, a hilariously energetic elderly couple. Max notices flypaper on sleeve, pulls it off, but it sticks to his hand; he tries to fling it away repeatedly while girl impatiently applies for his attention. CU flypaper stuck on his hand. MS girlfriend asking Max to fix her necklace but Max can't assist b/c flypaper is stuck to both his hands. Old man enters to announce Dinnertime, girlfriend exits while Max stamps on paper to get it off hand, only now it's on his foot. | |
