C/U Calendar 1939, with price list of wines of those times. M/S Costa proceeds to buy another drink for a 1/-. M/S Shelf full of popular brands of cigarettes at 10 for 6d. M/S Costa buys 10 Players and smokes a cigarette, picks up newspaper, "Evening Standard", containing the Budget head lines. Costa gets excited and buys drinks all round, but unfortunately the reduced prices are finished and he faints when informed that the bill is £3.01 (1950 prices). | |
