| Description: | President William F. McKinley makes his last public speech at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, NY, where he would soon be shot. Pres and Mrs McKinley walk across the platform which has masses of patriotic decoration - flags, bunting, ribbons etc.- - and take seats in 1st row of chairs for VIPs on the platform. John G. Milburn, President of the Pan-American Exposition, introduces the incumbent president of the United States. Much applause, cheering, and hat waving by spectators as McKinley begins his speech.
