Baskomb (as Henry Penwell) shown as if riding in carriage; he's kisses her hand, she scoots away and he slides after her, etc. In the next scene, she pretends that he squeezed her so hard that she broke a rib. Preparing for this deception actor W.H. Berry gets himself disguised as a doctor, while O'Neil helped by 2 nurses gets herself into position as an invalid lying on the couch scurry around. Bascomb watches as the "doctor" examines O'Neil, pretending she has a high fever- -nurses start fanning her. The stethoscope gives her the giggles.
