But they are cut with these sort of odd CUs of the couple; with a completely black BG. He is in British Army uniform. She is not in a wedding dress; or even in anything white; rather she wears a dark coat & hat. Neither of the two are very attractive; to say downright ugly would be mean; but he is sort of scrawny and sick looking; and she is heavy and with a sort of florid shiny face; they both have weird noses and as for teeth --. Anyway; most of the story consists of these strange CU shots with black BG; and they just look and talk to the camera - with glances at each other - sometimes rolling eyes or making other strange expressions; as if they're telling some funny story. Then CUs of each alone. He salutes. They seem to be happy; pleasant people; so I'm sorry I've made fun of them. | |
